It’s been so hot here in eastern North Carolina that I’m truly longing for autumn weather. Since the weather won’t cooperate, I decided to craft some fall-themed cards. I started with the Autumn Leaves Stamps and Dies, then added in the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder for good measure.
I layered Pumpkin Pie Card Stock on a Cajun Craze card base, then added a top layer of Very Vanilla Card Stock embossed with the Leaf Fall embossing folder.
I loved cutting different color leaves with the Autumn Leaves dies. I used Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry.
The sentiment came from this stamp set as well, though I did sneak in a sentiment die from the Changing Leaves Bundle that will be available in the upcoming September mini catalog.
I stamped the sentiment, backed it with a bit more Cajun Craze and attached it flat to the top layer of the card front, trimming to fit. The leaves were attached with dimensionals. Last, I added a linen bow using the Natural Tones Linen Thread set which you will also find in the upcoming September mini catalog.

So, what do you think? Is this simple card done, or does it need a bit of bling somewhere? What sort of bling would you choose? Be sure to leave a comment here to be entered in this week’s prize patrol (winner will be announced during next week’s live on 9/5 at 10am EDT).
I love this card…beautiful!
