Masculine birthday cards can be challenging, but our Adventurous Sky Bundle and Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper make this one easy! The stamps and the paper can be combined in so many ways, that you can use up the whole pack of paper and still have lots of different cards!

Prepare the pieces for this masculine card

There are several dies in the bundle that I used for this card. I die cut the plane body from Night of Navy card stock and the wing assembly from Smoky Slate card stock. I used one of the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a circle for the sentiment.

Pieces included in creating this masculine card.

Putting it together

I layered Night of Navy card stock behind the designer series paper to create a fine dark border to add pop on the white card base, then added the focal image to that along with the sentiment.

Finishing the inside was really simple as well. Stamping a smaller plane using a lighter ink, then the message in darker ink added an extra bit of interest. If you want to see the process step-by-step, you can click on the video below the picture.

So tell me, do you have challenges with masculine cards also? Learning different ways to use some of the less floral patterned papers can come in handy to make cards for the guys. Plaids and such are a good option. What’s your favorite style for masculine cards? Pop a comment below to let me know.
